The main aims of this course

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of gender affirming practice and build confidence when working with trans and gender diverse people 

  • Provide a grounding in structural oppression and barriers faced by trans and gender diverse people in workplace and beyond 

  • Gain an in-depth awareness of the key therapeutic themes in relation to trans and gender diverse clients

  • Gain an understanding of the overlap and intersection of gender, sexuality and relationships.

  • Explore queering therapeutic practice in relation to gender diverse clients
