This course is suited to counsellors, therapists, mental health professionals and psychologists who wish to increase their knowledge and understanding when it comes to working with neurodiversity. Delivered by a UK leading neurodivergent non-binary trans therapist, offering practical tools and unique insight gained from lived experience as a neurodivergent person and an established specialist working with neurodiverse and queer clients.
The course will introduce participants to:
Introduction to types of neurodivergence - autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia and acquired neurodivergence.
An introduction to historical, socio-medical context for neurodivergent clients

The main aims of this course
Gain an awareness of different types of neurodivergence and how they may present in clients.
